Guess what? Fall has just arrived at A Corner Cottage!! We have been busy little bees straightening, adding to displays, putting out spooky witches, bright orange pumpkins, and many Thanksgiving items. I think it's hard to find really neat, inexpensive Thanksgiving decorations....but we found them and you can buy them!
We hope you have all received our latest postcard mailing. If not, let us know and your name will be added to our mailing list. We feature 20% off all your purchases ( at least those that are not vintage or antique) and a free gift for spending $25.00! Now, where can you find another bargain like that? Also, visit us just to see our darling window displays. We attract so much attention with our windows and lots of people help us make them just right. We are so getting ready to begin our decorating for Christmas and have many lovely ideas for you. We will begin to change the shop on October 1st. Right around the corner, isn't it? We have some specials in the store right now - WEBKINZ 50% off, a window full of treasures - 50% off, baby stuffed animals and other baby treasures - 50% off, seasonal linens - 60%, some handbags - 50% off, and many more items - too many to mention. Come buy the bargains as we make room for santas and snowmen!!
Just arrived - the cutest shadow boxes so reasonably priced (we show you several ways in which to use these); some simple country decor which will light up a room in any home: collegiate items - including tricycles with Purdue and Indiana colors; a new batch of washable rugs; many bird cages and bird items (really big all year long); festive plates with inspirational blessings on each, hand towels to match; beaded crosses in all colors, inspirational angels and little plates with Sister, Mom, Faith, Friends, etc. on them; metal framed pictures with wonderful sayings; and tons of new bling! Wow! No wonder we are always busy setting new displays - so much more to come!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!!!!
Oh my goodness! What a birthday party we had!! Thanks to the many many friends who came to the shop for bargains and to celebrate our 5th birthday party. This undoubtedly was our best party yet, and we cleared the shelves to get ready for our next season.
Many, many heartfelt thanks to those of you who have supported our little shop for 5 years and for our new found friends. We have strived for perfection in customer service. All efforts are always made to keep our prices reasonable. And we always look forward to hearing your input. You are all an inspiration to us and we hope you have fond thoughts of us as our items enter your homes. Friends...that's what you all have become and we are forever grateful for your friendships. That's what this shop wanted from the first day it opened and we feel we have finally done it! All of you are our inspiration - every day.
You should see what we have arriving in the store on a daily basis! It is so fun to open the boxes and think of which friend we know who will come in and go 'crazy' for a certain item. Attending the gift shows is the most tiring job we have, but it is worth so much to see the look of delight on your faces as you realize a picture or shelf will look just right on a wall in your own home. We bought lots of home decor, bling bling, some new gourmet items, cuter baby stuff, and lots of fall and Christmas! Oh, are we out to impress you this year!!!
Our hearts go out to all our friends who are experiencing health problems at this time. You know we keep you in our thoughts and prayers and check on you all the time, but we want you to know we are always here for you. Prayers do get answered!! We know this firsthand!!
