Do you own some old, outdated furniture that you would like redone? We are looking for those "special" pieces that you just don't have a clue what to do with, and we will feature it on our blog and facebook. We will let customers and fans vote for

the "ugliest" piece and that piece will then be featured in a window of our shop for a makeover. Each day we will work, sand, paint, remove & restore this piece until it becomes a thing of coveted beauty. Then you may opt to keep it or sell it to highest bidder. Won't this be fun? We will let customers and fans vote for the "ugliest" 3 items of furniture and accessories.................categories of small items such as a shelf or chair; medium items such as an end table or dining table; larger items like a cupboard , dresser, desk, etc.

Don't fret - your names won't be used.

February 1 is the deadline so begin to think of those pieces sitting in your garage taking up space and let us work our magic for you! We can't wait to see what you come up with. Please submit furniture that doesn't need major construction work - such as in 15 pieces of wood in a box - we don't have that talent. February 1!!!!!

Amazing - that's what these little beauties have been! We sell loads of these every day and cannot keep them in. Our shawls are not your typical look, ours have lace and rosettes, and ripples and ruffles and buttons and trims galore. All under $30 but you'd think they were designer duds.

We now a larger selection of Tee shirts - even for women sizes. Add a sweater or two, or a crocheted cap, and you will make some lucky lady happy.

We have tees you can wear under the shirts or layer our tees and add a scarf for a more detailed look. Jamie is always on board to help you style your way into the holidays with these wonderful lines.

I think I have walked into the village of vintage homes.....complete with the little kids and snowmen to let your imagination soar. I love these and they are so easy to put out and pick up after Christmas. Many paper mache houses are battery operated and the others are electric. They sparkle, and with the lights dimmed, you can make up your own stories about the parties taking place in each home and the hymns being sung in the church. These will be keepsakes to pass onto your children for years to come. Begin your tradition this year.

Silver & Sparkles! What an amazing combination. Add any of our houses, Santa's, snowmen and birds in the glitter of the season. We have battery candles in silver, garlands in sparkles, jars, and votive holders. Very chic! A must for your holiday entertaining!

Vintage colors of aqua, pinks and off white abound in our vintage areas. Add a little pizazz to your decor this year. Oh my goodness. Wouldn't this just make the most romantic bedroom ever? Every bedroom SHOULD have a fireplace (mine does not but oh how I wish). This is traditional oak with extra trim and a very nice size for any cozy spot in your home. You must see this!

Okay, gals, if you can't have the fireplace how about a woven blanket, throw, duvet cover, or pillows made in the traditions of old? These are so soft.....and warm. Guess you might not need that fireplace after all. I folded these items today and wanted to put my head on the throw and take a nap. You will, too!

Chenille. Still the hottest fabric around. It brings back memories, feels good on your skin, and our color choices are so cool.

Have you ever had a desire to become Betty Crocker? You can look the part with these home made detailed aprons. Who knew that aprons would make such a comeback? I wear one every day at the shop even though the young whipper snappers don't ever want to wear one. Where do they keep their Kleenex and chocolate? I need my pockets for this.

We've sold several of these x-tra large compasses.......hang above the mantle (see the wonderful mantle above), on a wall. Make a statement with this piece. Did I mention its red? RED!

Find a fun place to go so you can wear this vintage-inspired sweater in beautiful colors. You can make a grand entrance because it has its own crocheted flower placed on the front. This is so cute and its getting lots of attention. We have now ordered this beauty two different times. Several size choices available.

Jamie says to wear our long sleeved basic tees underneath the glamorous styles for an even trendier look. You will want one, no two.....maybe even three! Walk down the street with this little rose petaled bag and others will swoon. We offer these bags in many colors - all the most popular, of course. The size and price are just right for anyone! Great gift for the upcoming season.

We've used this old black with white knobs sewing chest to hold jewelry and other accessories. This would hold many pieces of jewelry inside or trinkets that have no home, or scarves stacked inside. Try this piece for a bedside table. You can put your lotions and potions and romantic book inside.

This little desk has a lot of impact for its size. Great for an entry way or a small dressing table for the bedroom or bath. Lots of detail on the legs and the drawer. Just the ooomph needed for so many uses.

When we found these felted bags in so many different colors at market, we knew we had to have them! They look so expensive, but guess what! They are so affordable. Add a touch of pizzazz with our felted flowers in all colors and sizes and pin them on the purses. Great look!

If this isn't the cutest little thing. An authentic wagon bench.....so cute and the color is wonderful. Again, try this on a porch with added touches of mums, greenery, pumpkins. Place in your family room and keep your magazines on it. Also could be used for a coffee table and just think - no one else has one like it.

Oh my, you know how much I love RED! This little stool could stand on your front porch waiting to greet visitors. Try setting little pumpkins on each step, with some fall greenery and a battery candle. This will just say "welcome to all" so simply.

After many months of waiting, our beautifully bubbled glass hurricanes are back in stock. We have the urban (silver) and the country (rustic) and these are amazing when filled with treasures from outside, seasonal, your own trinkets, etc. The possibilities of giving these your own touch are endless. With the cooler temperatures, the fashion bug is bound to hit you! We have so many new handbags in stock.....all colors, all stylish, all pretty price points. You won't be able to make up your mind.

Several years ago, when we first found these candles at market, I wasn't too impressed. These items have come a looooonnnnng way since then. We have pillars, grubbies, tapers, etc. again in all shapes and sizes. These candles are not only battery operated but also have timers. We set our candles to come on at 11:00 each day and they will "burn" for 8 hours", shut off and then turn on each day at 11:00. Many of our customers tell us they use these for nightlights by setting their timers for 11:00 p.m. and they burn all night. Maintenance free! I am a true beliver now. You may not even know these are run by battery they are so realistic.

More woven rugs have arrived. I love the colors - blacks, red, ivorys, stars, all ready to rest your feet on while taking a break, and to make your house a home.

How french can we be? Love these burlap/linen pillows with sayings that attract your attention. Rest these on your sofas and beds and you have a neat new look, and didn't spend hundreds of dollars for it. Very french and very in!

Fall has arrived, along with halloween! Can you believe our customers are buying pumpkins, bats, witches and more. Aren't the displays beautiful? We think so, too! Red, oranges, golds, bittersweet, wreaths, and pumpkins all aglow. Hmmmmmmmm...

Now that the weather has been significantly cooler, we are all working in our garages and painting like crazy people. I love to change the shop with the seasons......we have many boxes of product arriving daily. Even we are surprised when we open the packages to price - we forget what we order! I know that sounds silly but if you could see the magnitude of the product waiting for us to purchase, you would be amazed. We come home from

Market with heads full of ideas, sore feet, aching backs, headaches, sinus infections from sleeping in hotels, and no money left! That's a party, girls!

Stay tuned, our shop is changing daily and sometimes every minute right now. Pay us a visit now that school has begun. You will like what you see, I am sure!

This darling shelf/desk could be used in the kitchen or perched in a corner of a teen's room. Lots of extra storage is always needed!

This floral/tropical chair will make you think of "vacation" no matter the time of year. Park it in a dim corner of your house and read that book that's been waiting for you.

Have you ever seen such a nice, large mirror on a vanity? Dress up a room easily with this piece. This won't last long.

A great, ultra popular wooden cubby! Hang on the wall to hold so many treasures you can't count. Repurposed items are more popular than anything and this rustic item will do the trick in your home. Won't last long.

Oh, your extra bedroom needs a pair of authentically antique wooden twin beds. Just place a quilt over them and you will nestle easily into a nice little nap.

. How quaint is this? This red cabinet could hold your mini collections; small teacups and saucers......it's up to you.

We hear from our customers that there are never enough cabinets to hold all their needs. This is not too big, but has lots of character. Fill this cabinet with china, use as a pantry, try folding linens and stacking them in it.

Brad and Christine work so hard at keeping the "memories" of old Noblesville in stock. I don't know how they paint so quickly, but they know just what the Noblesville natives desire. Sneak a peek.

Roosters, cows and pigs, oh my! Barnyard animals and scenes were all over the Market this year. What fun they are. We've even been selling the more contemporary versions of this livestock. Imagine a pig canvas receiving so much attention. Who knew?

Oh, the wonderfully bright colors of these paintings! I have a few on my porch and even more in my hallway. What a statement these make all on their own. You probaby can't see it from the photos, but each canvas has one word inspirational saying.

These weren't my Grandma's, but they could be! Sensational farm tables freshly painted, ready to be used just for you! I can see my Grandma mixing some batter, cutting up vegetables and folding clothes on these tables. They show signs of wear, with indentations from a knife, children, pets, whatever. You could use these outside on a porch - what a greeting this would be on a front porch to welcome your guests. Fill the top with baskets and boxes of geraniums! Use as a garden table - wouldn't it be nice just to keep this out just for this purpose, instead of always trekking to the garage to get your stuff? I would love to have a picnic under a tree with these tables. Hang one of our chandeliers in a tree above it and celebrate a warm, star covered night. I'm leaving right now to tackle this idea! Ha!

I'm old now and I've seen alot of antiques, but I've never seen a green cabinet such as this. This is in pristine condition and I want it! I will fight you for it!

Lots of room, such a unique look, this piece won't last long. At home I keep our alcoholic drinks and wine glasses in our Hoosier cabinet. Looks great and holds lots. Let the fight begin!

Our Sandy has found the perfect fireplace for you! Oak, looks like new, but isn't, and wonderfully priced. If you don't have a working fireplace, this is your answer. Try attaching this to a bedroom wall, put a large basket of florals in front of the opening and decorate the mantel with small pictures and candles and you will be set for romance. One of my biggest wishes is to have a bathroom large enough to put a fake fireplace in it.

Do you think if I bought this mantel Sandy would help me build that dream?

This little white cabinet will look good next to your shabby sofa, next to your bed, used in the laundry room or bathroom to hold all those little items that have no home. I even thought about using it to hold all those extra jewels, fake or not, that a jewelry box just can't hold.

New signs are in! These are 3 dimensional great signs for gifts or for you. The colors are more subdued so they blend in with any decor. They sayd the cutest things - such as "Seek Wisdome" with a 3-d owl in a frame. Cute, cute, cute! There are even two different lazy susans decorated with sayings and fun colors that you must have.

Elvis was great!!! Thank you Roy and Julia Reynolds, it was such a fun time!

This story was so sweet, I wanted to share with everyone... A wonderful customer purchased this beautiful Kelly Rae picture from us. She said she was purchasing it because she had two sisters and they were all very close and did everything together, their last name was Hart. Her two sisters have now passed away. She felt that this picture was meant for her! If you can't read what the picture with the three ladies says,
it says " together it was a journey of heart."

What little child would not want to sit at this desk and feel oh-so-important? Another good idea, use this as an end table next your sofa.......perch a lamp on top and leave your emails from A Corner Cottage on the desk to remind you of us. I just had to say that.

We didn't have one of these desks when I grew up but our Aunt Louis did. I always wanted to sit on it and dial just anyone on that big black, heavy, and ugly telephone. Those were the good old days.

Oh, my Paris! We have not one, not two, but three of these magnificent scrolled leg tables with French notations on each! What a find these tables were..... what a skill it took to add the fabric. Where are you shabby chic lovers?

If you catch me taking a nap on this snazzy glider, do not wake me up! I repeat- do NOT wake me up. I have walked around the corner and found customers lying on this glider. If you sit on it just once, mark it, sold for sure. Great color for those country lovers.

You all know I am absolutely crazy for anything red and anything with cubbies. Okay, take a look at this prized item- a red cubby with drawers with a great price, this could fit anywhere holding your treasures. We live on an old farmstead and since day one our grandchildren have collected their own treasures in our barnyard and fields by digging little holes to see what they would find. We have a a little cubby hanging on the wall filled with all of our precious finds. We make up stories about who used these and where they came from. Why don't you begin a special tradition such as this?

Okay, let's not fight over this most beautifully stained cabinet hutch! Once this picture posts, the fastest person will win! Its all original lots of ornamentation, doesn't have any flaws that I could see, lots of storage for your china, Grandma's passed down pottery or your dining linens. A must have to make your dining area pop! If you don't have a dining room, wouldn't this look so cute in your bathroom with folded towels and accessories? Not that my towels ever get folded and stay that way, but hopefully yours do.

Mirror Mirror on the vanity, who's the fairest of us all? This piece is the best! Lots of storage space for make up and accessories, hair dryer, whatever your heart desires. Nice size that will fit anywhere. Don't be shy, try setting this piece in an entry way: add a lamp, fill the drawers with mittens, scarves and gloves, and of course that all important lipstick to use as you walk out the door. Bet your visitors will be jealous of your new look.

An old window made into a planter with wonderfully red shutters accenting each side. A great piece to hang on the wall giving you the feeling you are looking out the window, even though its topped with mirrors. Take the flowers out and store your mail in the shelf. Test your creative skills by using some of your ideas, too.

What a cute little apple green step stool! Add some little plants on the steps and let this cute greet your visitors at the front door.... collect miniature garden items and place on the steps.

Look at this sweet old green box! We have it filled with geraniums! To get a full view of the box, I closed it to take the picture. What a great house warming gift, a thank you to a neighbor, or just adorning a dining table.

A tall black plant stand with green leather insert on top. I have several of these at home holding plants. I have one in my guest bathroom holding a glass cake plate. The plate holds make up, soaps, Kleenex, a spare toothbrush and toothpaste for any guest. Try it. Simple and cute!

Tee Hee!

This little table looks just adorable with the rest of the child's furniture. All of this together makes such a great set!!

Okay.....could I just catch the flu or some other ailment so that my family can serve me tea and crumpets on a fancy shmancy wicker tray? This tray would be so cute resting on your spare bedroom bed waiting for guests with grandmother's cup and saucer and a good romance novel. Did I mention that if a piece of chocolate could be put on that tray, I'm all yours for the weekend.

"Oh you'll look sweet, upon the seat, of a bicycle built for two"......oops - we actually have two bicycles, but since the song fit, I decided to use it to my advantage. Girls, you can spray paint these wonderful bicycles in any color, place the bike in your yard with a floral basket hanging from it, and impress your whole neighborhood. Hard to find, but we found them.

This two tiered red enamel table is a wonderful find for all those red lovers. Use this table as an island in your kitchen, a garden table on your porch (just hose the dirt off); a serving table for your patio/deck. I love it when one piece can serve so many purposes...when you get tired of a kitchen island, move it into another room.

A nice-sized square dining table with two leaves! Oh the company you can entertain with this beauty. Oak, heavy and oh, so grand.

Very seldom do we leave our furniture unpainted but why destroy a perfectly stained piece......think of placing this in an entry way with drawers filled with gloves, mittens and scarves, set a lamp on top, add Grandma's old platter to hold keys; how about extra storage in a bathroom?; in a dining room to hold all your linens. And the list goes on and on and on.

Yummy! On all these rainy days, we all NEED to see a sunny yellow chair with floral fabric placed on the seat. Place this at your kitchen desk, then smile. Paying those bills wouldn't be so hard if you sit in a yellow chair.

Mailbox. I know some of you are not old enough to remember how this tin box was used. Believe it or not, its an old milk box, formerly placed on your porch and filled with gallons of milk from the delivery milkman. Amazing to me its actually been that long ago. New uses for this hard to find prize: hang on the wall with garden flowers sprouting out of the top ( you know what else? Put the florals in a glass canning jar, place canning jar in the tin box, and voila' you are a decorator). Sorry I got sidetracked. I could see this sitting on your kitchen counter or home desk holding those dreadful bills and letters. How about as you come in the front door, filled with umbrellas?

Special painted stool by our friend Christine. Add to your vanity, or kitchen island for an extra pop. Amazing what one accent piece can do to your decor.

Try using one of our battery candles inside our canister and watch your table, mantle, shelf come to life. Beautiful! Simple!

"Keep Calm and Carry On". How appropriate this is for any home. Just remember to listen to what the sign says. When is the last time you were calm?

Ohhhhhhh Marilyn, and our wonderful reproduction couture designs. What an accent these could be in any bathroom (yes, a black and white bathroom would be wonderful w/old subway tile......when can I begin this project?), in a bedroom (how romantic) and so beautifully done, tied with a ribbon. You are going to fall in love with the 50's again.

Remember these are original typewriter parts, not reproduction pieces.

Brad's prints. Brad Cook continues to hold us spell bound as he always know what old memory to paint next. Today we sold 12 of his prints to one person. Friends stand in his booth and reminisce loudly. Some share that they "made out" at certain Noblesville locations and sometimes share more than we need to know! His prints are updated at least monthly.
