Hello Friends:

Several of us have been to the buying market for 5 days......we were so brain dead upon returning and now are anxiously awaiting new product on a daily basis. Thanks to the lines of customers who attended our Super, Super Sale! You helped us by buying so much merchandise the whole shop had an echo. Then we cleaned and scrubbed from top to bottom, wore ourselves out, and are sparkling once again for you!

I never thought these words would ever come out of my mouth, but --- you may now become a fan of A Corner Cottage on facebook. Yes, I have been getting lessons from Chandra and am now becoming a real "techi". She is losing her mind, but since I lost mine a long time ago, what's the difference? Give me awhile to get really good at this as I am now working on putting photos on here and on facebook. Yep, I'm coming up in this world.

In case you are wondering why I have now chosen to be a big computer guru, our lovely Erin has left the shop due to some pregnancy difficulties. She's fine, no worries, but she needed to be a little more idle than is allowed in the shop. We will surely miss her but cannot wait to kiss that new little girl one of these days.

Happy New Year to all of our dear friends!

Thank you for being supportive of our shop, we love our friendships and appreciate you always. Because we are so busy, I haven't even had time to update the blog and many of you have been asking. I'm sorry, hopefully 2010 will give me more time to do this.

Several of us will be spending 5 days in Atlanta at the buying show and hopefully will find many new unique treasures that you will fall in love with. They will begin shopping our finds by the first of February. In the meantime, mark your calendars right now for what used to be called our Super Bowl sale and is now our Super Super Sale! January 16, one day only, for the biggest markdowns of the year. Plenty of good stuffs to choose from and you must shop early! We cannot wait to see you and then begin our process of changing the shop again. This is my most favorite thing to do.

A reminder that we will be closed all Sundays in January so that we can be in the shop making our beautiful messes to bring delight to your faces. Wait until you see what is planned.

More wonderful news - both Erin and Marsha's daughter, Katherine, are having baby girls! So, our little menagerie is growing by girls and more girls, future employees of A Corner Cottage.
